Biography
Dr. Chang utilizes her extensive training and
experience to treat even the most challenging dental
situations. She has been delivering cosmetic,
implant, and functional solutions to patients for
over 25 years. Her commitment to “doing it right”
and ability to handle just about anything has won
Dr. Chang the admiration of her patients. A huge
bonus is that Dr. Chang uses her years of clinical
expertise to prevent problems before they happen.
Dr. Chang graduated from Tufts University, School of
Dental Medicine in 1980 and completed a General
Practice Residency Certification at Loma Linda
University in 1981.
Dr. Chang’s state-of-the-art practice combines
science and esthetics, providing beautiful and
functional dentistry – all with the latest digital
x-ray, digital photography and intra-oral camera,
laser assisted cavity finder and periodontal therapy
technologies.
Since 1983, Dr. Chang has been helping patients
enjoy eating and smiling again. She pioneered
special methods of implant dentistry to “rescue” the
denture patient and those with debilitated teeth
needing complete reconstructions. Dr. Chang also
developed special techniques in sedation dentistry
for the fearful patient. Recently, she has focused
on ‘Dentistry for Diabetics’ linking periodontal
health to systemic (whole body) health, ensuring
patients not only have healthy teeth and gums, but
also reduce their inflammation systemically. All
treatment is performed in the same office. This
combined with advanced techniques allow even the
most compromised individual to return to a life of
enjoying their dental health.
For their patient’s benefit, advanced learning and
implementation of cutting edge technology is at the
heart of Dr. Chang’s practice and her office of
professionals. The friendly team is known for their
down to earth and non-technical communication style
making complex dentistry easy to understand.
